My Success Story

When I started my journey in data analytics at Vephla Uni, I had a lot of excitement but also a good dose of self-doubt. I’ll admit, I’ve never been the most disciplined person; procrastination has always been my biggest obstacle. However, the structure of Vephla's program and, more importantly, the support of my mentor completely transformed my mindset and approach to learning.
From day one, the importance of the tasks and deadlines was made clear. Every assignment had a purpose, building on previous skills and pushing us into new areas. And when I say “pushing,” I mean it! My mentor, who I have to thank for so much of my growth, gave us absolutely no breathing space in our cohort. He expected us to be present, to be accountable, and to complete every task. There was no room for my usual shortcuts or delays. We were constantly given project after project, and at times, it felt like I was on a never-ending treadmill of assignments. But looking back, this rigor is exactly what made the difference.
Each project served as both a challenge and a stepping stone. One week, we’d dive into data cleaning and transformation; the next, we’d be using visualization tools to extract insights. There was no “easy week” in this program; each task was another piece of the puzzle, building on the last, preparing us for real-world demands. My mentor held us to a high standard, expecting precision, accuracy, and timeliness, which taught me to be disciplined and committed to my work in a way I hadn’t been before.

A friend who had completed the program a year before told me that Vephla's data analytics curriculum was known for being as intense as it was effective. She had warned me that the program was “well-structured with a lot of discipline,” and she was right. Vephla Uni’s program lived up to its reputation—it was demanding, methodical, and rigorous, designed to turn even the laziest students into hardworking, dependable professionals. I am so thankful that I didn’t let my usual habits hold me back and that I embraced the program’s structure.
By the time I completed my course, I was not the same person who had walked through Vephla Uni’s doors. The discipline instilled in me, the habit of meeting deadlines, and the thorough understanding of each data analytics process made me realize I was prepared for more than just passing exams—I was ready for a career. Only two months after graduation, I landed my first role as a Data Analytics Intern, a position that has allowed me to put everything I learned into practice. From coding in R and SQL to presenting my insights in clear, compelling visuals, I can see just how much the rigorous training at Vephla has prepared me for this.
I am forever grateful to my mentor and to all the directors at Vephla Uni who played a role in shaping this program. My mentor, especially, deserves a special thanks—I can’t express enough how much his no-nonsense approach pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me what true discipline looks like. His guidance, his dedication, and his belief in my potential have all been invaluable in shaping my career and my future.
