My Success Story

I began my journey with Vephla on December 12, 2023, with the hope of getting into tech and landing a job in the industry as soon as possible. I knew it would be challenging, and believe me, it has been, but every bit of hard work has paid off. Around my fifth month, as I was deep into one of my projects, I landed an intern role—a huge milestone for me. Getting that position while still learning was an incredible confidence boost, and I could see how much Vephla’s training was already working in the real world.

One of the best parts about Vephla’s approach has been the way they set us up in teams. Working with other students, designers, and project managers taught me so much about real-life collaboration. Now, in my intern role, I’m working with a similar team setup, and everything just clicked into place. I can’t believe how naturally it came, all because of the experience I got at Vephla. It’s like the program was designed to prepare me for exactly this. I never thought an edtech school would go this far to make sure you’re ready, not just for tech skills but for the real teamwork and discipline you need on the job.

There were so many moments I didn’t think I’d make it through, but my mentor, Dev. Richard, has been with me every step of the way. His support and encouragement pushed me when things felt tough. I still hear his words, “Never give up,” every time I feel stuck. And keeping my GitHub updated—like he taught us—played a big role in helping me secure this position. And then there was the push—Vephla’s intense projects and deadlines are no joke, but they built the discipline I needed to finish my tasks and stay focused.

I’m also so grateful to Vephla for the scholarship they offered me, which made this whole journey possible. Their belief in my potential has been a huge source of encouragement. Vephla is a true blessing in my life, and I couldn’t be happier with the growth, confidence, and skills I’ve gained here.
