My Success Story

This past year has truly been a whirlwind for me, filled with unexpected challenges, moments of doubt, and, thankfully, renewed clarity. I had the incredible experience of studying in Vephla University’s Cohort 7C, but unfortunately, it wasn't a smooth journey. Early in the year, I fell seriously ill and was unable to attend classes for almost two months. Those weeks were tough—not only was I trying to recover physically, but the sense of falling behind weighed heavily on me. It felt as though I was watching my dreams drift further out of reach with each passing day.
When I finally regained my health two months ago, I was encouraged by friends and family to focus all my energy on preparing for my ICAN exams, which were set to begin on July 25th. But after everything I had been through, I knew I needed to take a different approach. Instead of diving back into preparation for ICAN, I reached out to someone who had been a constant source of support and inspiration to me—my mentor, Dev Richard. His guidance has always brought a renewed sense of purpose and direction, and this time was no different.

I explained my struggles to him, and without hesitation, he offered to help me get back on track. Dev Richard took me under his wing, guiding me patiently through the lessons I had missed. He reminded me of the bigger picture and encouraged me to keep going, even when I felt uncertain. Vephla University has this invaluable system of recording each class session, and I was able to download and revisit all the lecture notes and videos I had missed. It was exactly what I needed. Watching those recordings, practicing the skills, and keeping my mentor updated on my progress was transformative. I felt myself slowly catching up, regaining my footing one step at a time.
With Dev Richard’s encouragement and support, I decided to take a bold step toward my future. Following the techniques he had taught me in his lessons, I started applying for jobs, even though I felt I might not be fully ready. It was a risk, and I knew it. But it was a risk I was willing to take. To my amazement, I secured two interviews almost immediately, and thanks to everything Dev Richard had taught me, I felt confident in both of them. By some combination of preparation, faith, and the invaluable guidance I had received, I passed both interviews. I was absolutely thrilled.

This entire journey has given me a renewed clarity in my career path, and I’ve come to realize that sometimes taking a leap is what brings you closer to your goals. ICAN can rest in peace for now, as I’m more determined than ever to pursue a direction that truly resonates with me.
